History
On May 26, 1888, Wesley Park, a widower, sold a parcel of land in Lone Oak Township to M.Rogers, M.S. Jenkins and John Thomas to be used as Fairview Cemetery. Perched on a gentle rise, you can see for nearly 60 miles in a northwesterly direction from the center of the cemetery. In 1927, the cemetery association added the stone gates and fence along the south entrances to Fairview.
